The
SACRAMENTO AREA WOODWORKERS a.k.a. SAW, est. 1982, is an organization formed for the purposes of sharing:
- woodworking experiences
- information
- instructions
- plans
- books
- tools
- lumber sources
- ideas in producing supplemental income
- discounts resulting from
- volume buying
The Club has grown to a healthy 240 members of which you can meet approximately 80 at any given meeting. The beauty of having a membership of this size in our community is that the talents range from beginner up to master woodworker. If you’re thinking of a piece or planning a project, chances are good that others in the group have made or have been involved in the making of something similar and have a wealth of knowledge that can help.
Meetings: SAW General Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month from 7PM to 9PM. (
See calendar for dates.)
Location: Ethel MacLeod Hart Senior Center, 915 27th Street, Sacramento.
