I wish to build a storage box on a trailer for carrying camping gear. Here in the southwest hot and dry conditions can be expected, but eventually exposure to rainy weather must be anticipated. What grade of plywood is recommended? Also, what wood is most appropriate for the surface ply with regard to easy but durable staining and an oil finish (since this can be easily renewed while in the wild) given our intense sun shine?

I bought an unfinished train from your group at the Ft. Bliss Craft Fair last Novemeber and I started painting the train. I have now decided to stain the train instead. Can you give me some instruction as to how to take the paint off?
