With the Canadian dollar now at a premium (about 3.5%) with respect to the US dollar, how can you possibly justify charging Canadians $41Can for the same 2 yr term as you charge Americans $28US. I realize distribution costs are somewhat greater but that cannot possible account for a surcharge of 51.5%!!! (41 by 28 x 1.035) Will you permit me to pay the US rate in US funds...yours is a fine magazine but that. surcharge is most insulting and without ratiionale. I have an antique sofa that has very carved feet. One of the feet/legs has broken and I would like to find someone who can mend or carve a new foot/leg for this sofa. I'll be happy to supply a photo to anyone who feels they can undertake this task or refer me to someone who can. Contact me @ mikestub@gmail.com for photo. Thank you.

I bought an unfinished train from your group at the Ft. Bliss Craft Fair last Novemeber and I started painting the train. I have now decided to stain the train instead. Can you give me some instruction as to how to take the paint off? Thanks, Mary Albert 575-974-0401

Ms. Albert, The short answer is: use a paint remover, scrape it, or sand it. But to really give you a proper answer, please bring the train to the Club located at 3228 Sacramento. Hours of operation are 8 am - 12 noon Tues thru Sat and 5:30 - 9 pm Mon and Wed evening. After seeing what you did, type paint used, etc., we can better advise you on the removal of the paint. The Club has awarded grants from its Scholar Ship Fund to HS grads--the scholarship fund is no longer maintained. The Club has build cabinets and shelving for several other non-profit organization, such as the Child Crisis Center, Scouts, senior centers, Ft Bliss, local museums, as well as some handicapped ramps for individuals in need. Please post your email address and I can provide you more detailed information if desired. Paul, Editor, Club Newsletter

Recently downloaded plans for a wooden Sidewalk Speedster. They call for 10" x 1 3/4" wheels with a 3/8" plain sleeve bore. I live in Hawaii and resources are limited. I have searched the web but cannot find a supplier. It is a white spoked tricycle wheel but I cannot find it locally. Any Ideas
