I built some black walnut panel doors and there is excessive splitting and shrinkage now what did i do wrong??? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

probably 2 things. moisture content too high and most of all, If you did not allow the panels to "float"
ie: you either glued or fastened them some way so as to not allow movement. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
