I HAVE THE 'FRONT SECTION ' OF A VERY OLD WOOD VISE. I AM LOOKING TO BUY WHAT I WOULD CALL THE BASE REPLACEMENT. THIS WOULD BE THE PART THAT IS SECURED TO THE BENCH,USUALLY UNDERNEATH, HAS THE BACK FACE OF THE VISE, THE THREADED RECEPTACLE FOR THE SCREW PORTION OF THE VICE AND ACCOMODATES THE TWO SUPPORT RODS. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED
tHE SPECIFICATIONS ARE AS FOLLOW:
DIAMETER = 7/8 INCH, 4 TPI, ACME THREADS

YOu will be very hard pressed to find what you are looking for. Even newer vises are made from cast iron and come from places like China. As far as I know, even the poplular "Wilton" vises don't sell any replacement parts.
In my opinion,, you should just go get a new vise. Sorry
